A dramatic address delivered on the verge of Israel’s entry into the land of Canaan, Deuteronomy has been described as a book "on the boundary." Ted Woods expounds its all-encompassing vision and shows how the Israelites were exhorted to make its words the interpreter of their life's story within the land "beyond the Jordan." This completely new volume replaces the previous editon of Deuteronomy in the Tyndale Commentary series written by J. A. Thompson.

About the Author Now retired, Edward J. Woods was formerly Senior Lecturer in Old Testament at the Melbourne School of Theology, Victoria, Australia (formerly the Bible College of Victoria), where he still teaches part time. It's with no little trepidation that I confess to finding little to enjoy in this book. Which can be frustrating, especially since I know I have to wait so long for a bigger taste!! At this single moment in time I am desperate for a Jude or Seven (or Jude AND Seven) prequel novella.you know, just throwing it out there.I LOVED the way things settled out with Tristan and Piper. This is a fine book by an experienced geologist. This of course does not mean spiritual gifts cannot be cultivated or that a believer cannot become mature in the practice of these gifts. When I first opened Famous Trains, I was disappointed. The information is detailed, without being boring or stuffy. Interesting techniques learned, and new ways of thinking that I am eager to apply to future projects.. It also has a fairly in-depth glossary.. I rate this a good to very good book on loose watercolor figure painting. Not very intensive on the equations or physical explanations, but is very practical for the cleanroom.. I've been picking it up and reading a few chapters as a time in between my outings to watch the birds.
