Mark Gerchick makes reference to another recent book - by pilot Patrick Smith - who looks at the industry from a slightly different point-of-view. Excellent reading.. Babes faint when I play this on my trumpet.. Too often, health problems are treated with magic pills, and this is especially true of mental health problems. I'm really pleased that it includes information about how climate and habitat impact the lives of specific types of birds, and discusses how human activities can cause both harm and benefit to birds.And as others here have mentioned, the book is very nicely illustrated with diagrams and photographs on nice glossy paper.. So I was left not knowing what to think in this book. The range doesn't go very high - up to a written G# at the top of the staff (concert F#), with optional 8va spots that would go up to B above that (concert A) - and the rhythms are mostly simple and straightforward - no mixed meter (of course not, it's baroque music) - some 32nd notes, but mostly quarters & eighths throughout. Very good product.. It also has a fairly in-depth glossary.. Can't he summon some of that skill to examine the religion and culture of the Africans he encounters on this
