So I purchased this book to find areas to pan in Breckenridge but found nothing more than a few sentences. Absolutely routine. The story becomes choppy. He simply doesn't hold anything back. My copy is dog-eared and the pages are falling out. Vaughan excels at telling compelling simple stories with interesting premises ("Y, The Last Man" and "Ex-Machina") and "Pride" is no exception. I don't know how many fantasies these people have read, but this didn't measure up.The story is of a girl, who, with 11 other "siblings" need to find their own soulmates to bring more love into the world.
